Personal Data: The Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundation, Inc. (“the Samuels Foundation”) collects the information voluntarily sent to us or entered into online web forms that users submit to apply for grants and to have their applications processed.  We may also receive your personal data from third parties. For example, your colleague may give us your contact information to request that we correspond with you.

User Data: We can also access some non-identifying basic information from visitors to our website, www.samuels.org (“Samuels.org”). This includes pages viewed, type of browser used, type of operating system used, IP address, and other diagnostic data.  This information is provided to us by our website host contractor, Wix.

The Foundation uses the information to:

• communicate with you, including to respond to your inquiries, provide information you request from us, send you information about our activities;

• process grant applications, manage and provide grants;

• provide, maintain, and improve our services and website, including research and analytics regarding users of the website and usage patterns.
